Comparison of the French Movement La République en Marche en the Czech Movement ANO 2011

This bachelor thesis deals with a comparative analysis of two European movements, the French movement La République En Marche and the Czech movement ANO 2011, which in 2017 won the elections to the upper chambers of parliaments. Both entities present themselves as pro-European, centrist movements that seek the favor of all citizens regardless of their ideological beliefs. The work will deal with similarities and differences in movements in terms of their emergence and subsequent development, party organization structure, program for elections in 2017 and marketing during campaigns along with funding and the role of founders within movements. On the basis of obtained information, a comparative analysis will be carried out,. During the analysis, it is important to take into account the legislative and political systems in both countries, which can have a major impact on the behavior and structure of movements. The conclusion of the thesis then offers a final analysis of individual researches that either confirm or refute the thesis-hypothesis
Comparison of Sinn Féin's policy in Ireland and Northern Ireland

This bachelor thesis deals with a comparative analysis of two parts of the Sinn Féin party, which as the only relevant political party appears in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Both parts of the party received unordinary support in the recent British and Irish elections and will sit in the Irish, Northern Ireland and British Parliaments. Sinn Féin is presented as republican, nationalist, left-wing party that seeks to unite Ireland in one state from its inception in the early 20th century. The thesis will deal with the similarities and differences in the functioning of the parties in both parts of the island. Account will be taken of the development of the party as such, the structure of the party organization, funding and programs for the 2017 (Northern Ireland Assembly), 2019 (House of Commons) and 2020 (Dáil Éireann) elections. Based on the individual findings, a comparative analysis will take place. During the analyzes, it is important to take into account the political systems of both countries where the party works, which have a fundamental influence on the behavior of individual parts. The conclusion of the thesis will then provide a final analysis of individual research, which will either confirm or refute the hypothesis of the bachelor's thesis.
Youth organization of political parties in Czech Republic

All the youth political organizations, that were included in his research, aimed to provide its political parties with the function of party stabilization, They acted as a mediator between political party and the defined part of society. There is an assumption, that institutionalized political party wants a strong and durable relationship with the affiliated organization because of its mutually beneficial functions. Moreover, these parties should also aim to formalize this relationship via its statutes. However, in the Czech Republic there is a strong tendency toward omitting this form of relationship as the parties prefer more informal relations. This diploma thesis discovered, that in the only youth political organization with formal ties to its maternal organization was Young Social Democrats. Even though these youth political parties act lice a support structure, they can be also perceived by political party as a potential source of instability and danger.
